Preparation & Usage
Strict Safety Guidelines
- Ingestion: ZERO TOLERANCE. This plant is POISONOUS IF SWALLOWED.
- Application Site: Intact skin only. Do not apply to open wounds, cuts, or abraded skin (increases absorption to toxic levels).
Discontinue use immediately if skin irritation occurs.
Methodology: The “Folk Method” Oil Infusion
- Ratio: 1 Part Arnica to 5 Parts Carrier Oil (Volume).
- Vessel: Clean, dry glass jar.
- Solvent: Olive, Almond, or Jojoba Oil.
- Process:
- Fill jar 1/3 full with Whole Arnica Flowers.
- Cover with oil until flowers are submerged by 1 inch.
- Infusion Time: Place in a warm spot (not direct sun) for 2-4 weeks.
- Agitation: Shake the jar vigorously once every 24 hours.
- Finish: Strain through cheesecloth. Squeeze out residual oil. Discard plant matter.
